Charter School OS

For charter & independent schools

One operating system for the whole school.

Charter School OS brings enrollment, student support, and academic data onto a single shared student record — so small charter and private schools can run admissions, MTSS, and instruction from one place instead of a patchwork of disconnected tools.

Built single-tenant and FERPA-isolated — student records stay in your school's own instance.

Why Charter School OS

Enrollment tools don't talk to your data. Assessment tools don't run admissions.

Small schools end up stitching together separate systems for enrollment, intervention, and assessment — and none of them share a student record. Charter School OS was built to unify those four jobs on one record, so the family your team enrolls is the same student your teachers support and track all year.

The platform

Four capabilities, one shared student record

Each part of Charter School OS works on its own and works better together, because they all read and write the same student data.

01

Standards Clusters

Turn state assessment reports into a clear picture of what each student still needs to master.

Charter School OS reads FAST/ISR score reports and structures them down to the individual benchmark, linked to each student. Teachers get a view organized around the question they actually ask — who needs the same thing next — grouping students by reporting category and by specific standard so small-group instruction can be planned from real data instead of a stack of PDFs.

02

Enrollment, Lottery & Waitlists

Run applications, a fair and reproducible lottery, and waitlists on one shared record.

Manage the full applicant pipeline through a compliance-minded lottery with preference tiers, a seeded and auditable draw, and waitlist tracking — then bridge accepted families straight onto the roster. Enrollment events can trigger parent communications automatically, while student educational records stay isolated inside the platform.

03

MTSS & Student Success

Watchlists, tiered interventions, and monthly progress monitoring in one place.

Charter School OS supports a multi-tiered system of supports: a student watchlist, per-domain tiering, structured interventions, and progress monitoring on the cadence each tier calls for. Support teams can see who needs attention and follow whether the plan is working over time.

04

Student Intelligence Dashboard

Role-scoped views of proficiency and growth, from the network down to a single grade.

A dashboard that adapts to who is looking at it — network leadership, school leadership, a grade-level team leader, or a classroom teacher — with access scoped to the students each role is responsible for. It brings proficiency, distance-to-proficiency, and growth together so leaders and teachers work from the same numbers.

Who it's for

Built for small charter and private schools

Charter School OS is designed for schools and small networks that need real operational tooling without an enterprise SIS budget or a full IT department. It grew out of work with real schools and their real assessment data, so it fits the way small schools actually run — not the way large districts do.

Each capability is a module on one shared record, so a school can start where the need is most urgent and grow into the rest.

School & network leaders

A shared view of proficiency and growth, scoped from the whole network down to a single grade.

Enrollment coordinators

An applicant pipeline, an auditable lottery, and waitlists that hand off cleanly to the roster.

Student support teams

MTSS watchlists, tiered interventions, and progress monitoring on the right cadence.

Teachers

Standards-level clusters that show which students need the same skill next.
